💡 Know Before You Go
🎃 Dress warm — October evenings cool off fast once the sun drops.
🎃 Bring cash — street vendors cluster along parade routes.
🎃 Plan parking or transit — streets close hours before; transit or a distant garage beats circling the block.
🎃 Claim your spot early — prime viewing fills up 1–2 hours before step-off; bring chairs or a blanket.
🎃 Check the route map — the official page posts the route; pick a spot near the start to beat the crowds leaving.
